No I didn't remove the connecting loom, all I did was unplug the 2 connectors in the original panel and fit them into the new cruise panel D4 GS 12MY

All sorted, I'm now cruising at Christmas. Big thanks to M3DPO who helped out with a replacement PCB from a RRS and advice, and to everyone else who offered suggestions
Looks like the switch panel with a parts code beginning D... I.e. 13MY is not compatible with my 12MY car.
Happy Christmas everyone

The switchpack I showed also begins with D and was supposedly from a MY14.
Any idea what the part number was for the RRS switchpack that contained the PCB you now have and works and what part number should we be looking for?

I believe the first letter of the code is the year in which that version of the part was introduced rather than necessarily fitted. So D began in MY13 but could equally be in a MY 14 car if a change wasn't made to the part in the following year. ( I could be wrong though ). I don't know what the code was for the switch panel that the PCBs came from but M3DPO advised it was a MY12 RRS. There are 3 RRS LH cruise panels on eBay at the mo that I think would fit a MY10-12 D4. One has an A code and 2 are C codes. All 3 have the RRS chrome edges to the switches though.
HTH.

No doubt as others come across this problem we will be able to build a clearer picture

I had the exact same problem by upgrading my 2015 Discovery 4 with cruise control and bluetooth telefon. I ordered a steering wheel including cc and telefon butons at ebay. After mounting the wheel and config the ecu with the iid tool no cc, no lightning on the wheel an no functions on the original mounted shift padles. I changed the clockspring but this did not solve the problem. The problem was solved by ordering a original cc wheelblock from LR using a serial number of a Disco 4 original build with cc butons and as close build as possible to my Disco 4. The bluetooth conection was working at once after changing the car config with the iid tool.
