WD-40 is your friend!

No need to jack up the vehicle, just full lefthand lock, remove the plastic shield...

and take aim at the actuator rod. Give a a few squirts and wiggle the rod, then leave soak in over night.

Obviously don’t do it with a red hot turbo if you want to keep your eyebrows Laughing

Looks like I was trying to be hopeful, and it wasn't actually the actuator.

Need to try and work out where this leak is - started a new thread https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/exhaust-manifold-177359.html

Had a similar thing on a Pathfinder once. The crack was right on the collar at the head of the exhaust and was caused by someone jacking the car up on the exhaust. I couldn't find it at first because the top had stayed intact and the exhausts own weight was holding it shut.

Looking under the wheel arch towards the front you can see an access panel held on by 4x plastic rivet type fasteners shown -

You can use a screwdriver or similar to lever out the inner part of the rivets before the removing the outer part.

Anyone have the part number for these rivet fasteners - I smashed mine off in frustration!
