Cubby Cooler Switch

Hi,

Ive just bought an 05 Disco SE, and I think I have a cubby cooler. The cubby box is really cold, so I am assuming it has the cooler, but I cant find a switch or anything. How can I check / what should I look for to check if I have one or not?

Cheers

When you lift the lid do you see a black box or a white box

If black - No fridge

If White - Fridge

Switch is located top front middle

If you mean on the switch there is light but probably comes from an LED as its very small, doubt it would be a bulb.
Inside the fridge there is no other means of lighting it Thumbs Up

Right, based on the above I dont have the cooler. But, its really cold in there even when the rest of the car is toasty. It is black and theres no switch so therefore I had assumed that there wasnt a cooler, but we were waiting to get the car cleaned and my son put his hand in and said it was freezing, I checked and it was really cold and the outside feels colder than the rest of the plastics.

Ive heard that ghostly apparitions can create a cold atmosphere, so maybe weve got a really small ghost living in there, which is a bonus!

If I dont have the cooler and it stays that cold, then I really dont need one. I was thinking about just fitting my own peltier unit with some decent insulation, but I will wait and see.
