Just seen this - having seen the vehicle concerned, I can confirm that it is indeed a D4 and, as well as the fifth wheel assembly, it has a demountable rear body and a 'normal' multi-height towbar at the rear. Not sure if it's a 6x4 or 6x6, mind.
A rather unique vehicle ... must try to get some pics over the summer!Regards,

We see a few around my way for film set caravans.
As much as I love 6x6 that fire engine looks aweful to me! The rear box does not match the arches and has far too much overhang,plus it looks like it is about to fall off!Series 1 V8
