Hi,
I've seen posts about adding a screen to get the 4x4 display, sat nav, dvd etc...
What I want to know is if I get a screen, can I power it up and only use it for the reverse camera?
if I can what are the pinouts that I need to connect to get it to power up, and turn on/switch to reverse camera when in reverse?
I know i will need a fakra cable and reverse camera as well...

No
You need to add a D4 screen for reverse camera, but you'd still have the other functions available, not jsut reversing camera.

Just use a screen that comes with camera.
Much cheaper and easier

A 7" screen from a reversing camera fits nicely in the dash top, i'm surprised your HSE doesnt have the screen already.
