An 'immaculate' 17-year-old Land Rover Discovery that was first delivered to King Charles is set to be offered to the highest bidder in March - and the auction house selling it thinks it could go for double what it made just 12 months earlier.
The Tonga Green Discovery 3 with an ebony trimmed leather interior was supplied new in 2007 for the sole use of then Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.
This Royal Land Rover features some special items including alternate flashing headlamps and fog lights, and rear strobe lights, all adding to the interest and provenance of this special vehicle.
Automotive sale specialists Classic Car Auctions (CCA) estimate it will sell for a figure in the region of £20,000 to £30,000.

You have to be absolutely mad to buy an almost 200k km driven vehicle in that suggested price range, on an auction, no matter who might have touched it 17 years ago, when the street value for a similar is significantly less
I mean it is a nice color but…

Indeed , sheer madness , plus just read this
The Land Rover Discovery 3 is fitted with the durable 2.7-litre TDV6 diesel engine producing 195bhp.
Being a 2007 hope they changed the oil pump , at that price I first thought it may have been an armoured version
