D3 Buyer's Guide Anywhere?

Hello,

I've got around £7,000 to £8,000 to spend on a D3. I like having 'stuff' to fiddle around with so the HSE trim level looks to be the target at the moment.

I've spotted a guide on the forum already. However, the last post was nearly four years ago.

It'd be really appreciated if someone could point me in the right direction so I can see if a D3 would be for me.

Thanks folks.

BP

I would just click on every post you can see and read, also the wiki section located under the number 3 in the Disco3.co.uk title is well worth a read.

Early D4s must be heading that way price wise now?
I am not sure why but have noticed D4 prices taking a real hammering over the last 6 months or so.

There are inspection checklists, use search to find them.

I have also seen a big dip in D4 prices. There does also seem to be a lot on the market also.

How do I make arrangements with you to suit?

Very few below £12,000 with HSE spec near to me at the minute.

Thanks for the tip though - I'll keep a look out.

Looks like this one is pretty much over before its started.

I've been to have a look at a couple but it's a classic case of being able to afford to buy one but can't afford to run one. Nearly £600 in car tax was a massive factor.

Thanks to all who replied to me. Thumbs Up

Cheers folks

You can alway spend less and get a low tax model, i love my 2005 and have just been offered a 2015 D4 at a very good price but am choosing to stick with the old gal as she does everything i need.
I already have D4 commercial for work and love the extra grunt and 8 spd box but the amount of miles i drive its not worth spending the extra to upgrade and then have the huge road tax bill as well
