D3 Coil Springs and Shocker

I have struggled to get a decent set of shock absorbers (dampers) for my base D3 here in the UK.

Searching posts on the forum doesn't give too much information, one thread led to some 'Greek' shocker but they are no longer produced.

I have upgraded the springs all round to Old Man Emu Heavy Duty 50mm lift, but was left with the Delphi shockers as the ones I was after from the Devon 4x4 website here in the UK are not compatible despite what they advertise on the website. (they still have not changed the page).

https://www.devon4x4.com/bilstein-b6-front...38093.html

Are NOT compatible even though they were advertised as such, see bottom of the page
https://www.devon4x4.com/spring-l-r-disco-2005-on-f.html

Are there anything that some of you guys are using that you could point me in the right direction, the new Delphi are not really suited to the 50mm lift and just a bit too much recoil / bounce in them.

Thanks in anticipation of replies!

It would probably be better to post this question on AULRO.COM.

I had a quick look and found a couple of options, there might be more:

Lovells springs - http://www.lovellsauto.com.au/product5.php
They do springs and shocks

https://www.onlinesuspension.com.au/landro...-lift-kit/
Using Bilstein shocks

But there are also posts suggesting the original shocks are fine to use with a 2 inch lift.

Mikey, these don't fit, ordered a set from Devon 4x4 and they are incompatabile with the coil springs.

Ron the springs mount onto cups on the shock absorber these don't seem to be the right one's either. Looks like I will be sticking with the original. Neutral Neutral

Fair enough, at least you know they will fit!

I've seen a few threads on shocks where people have tried aftermarket but have gone back to the originals. They can't be that bad.
