Very interesting. I have seen the photos before, but never the detailed component by componet sections in the thumbnails overhead the main image area.

The electronic rear diff lock was engaged just using a battery and a switch for display purposes...
My base model does not have the diff lock, and I have no harness, ECU, or 4x4 info system to plug it into. But a switch and a power lead, that could be done.... Hmmmm.

Nathan, yours does not have diff lock, but the housing is different. Take a looka at the RRSport Superchardes cutaway, and at its rear diff. That's the one you have. If you can find a locking rear diff from a breaker and then fit it in your d3, then it would be no problem building a switch to operate the motor and so lock the diff, but otherwise, I don't know it's possible
Besides, as far as my test goes, the burgundy D3 HSE auto won't be available for testing until next monday. I can't wait. Regards, Robert
