D3 Front Suspension Air Valve

Hi all

Hope all is well

I am today going to change the front relief valve in the drivers wheel well

What I wish to know is that I have read on another forum that when the person who removed the valve he switched on the vehicle that in turn started the compressor that blew air through the line removing any possibly dust between the valve that sits in front of the compressor and the front of the vehicle in the air line

If I did this will I damage anything or is it not advisable doing this?

Regards

There is more than one pipe to disconnect before trying that. Would think it would be okay but may put up a fault which you would need to cleared afterwards

Seems like a good idea in theory

But may be safer and more effective to just disconnect the feed end of the front pipe and use compressed air?

I ended up doing a like for like swap

All faults cleared via the Autel, currently sitting level fault free

Next job is to replace the compressor and the reservoir valve that sits ahead of it

Rebuild it

I pulled both front and rear control valves and replaced the o rings. The hardest part is getting to it, and the kit was about $15-$20 for all of the o rings. Took about an hour all in.
