I must admit when it is clean it does look stunning.
It does tend to show up the dirt a lot more than the grey D3 though.
The D3 got washed about once every 6 months if it was lucky, this might need it weekly.
If anyone is near to Cardigan we have a monthly meet of the West Wales Landrover group on facebook in the Pen-y-bryn arms on the 2nd Thursday of the month at around 7:30 onwards.West Wales Section Discovery Owners Club

Stunning colour! Mine's black. Yours might show the dirt, but it can't be as bad as black for that. But whatever the colour, don't they scrub up well?

Much loved Tonga Green D3 SE gone after 10 years good service. Graphite D4 (in Graphite grey) seems much less workmanlike with its glossy wheel arches and bumpers...
Quicker, though, even though the old D3 was re-mapped by 10forCash (anyone know if he's still around?) and smooth.
Not a fan of ECO engine stops at traffic lights; still reminds me of years of engines that stalled at the lights and wouldn't start again.
And I don't get electric seats, armrest or a fridge!!! The SE had all that! And the SatNav hasn't exactly kept up with the times. Voice control? I have usually arrived where I'm going before I can negotiate a route by voice. Still need the Garmin!
Anyone know if my D3 Mantec sumpguard will just drop on to the D4?2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

No, the D3 sump guard will not fit. You'll need the 2014 onwards sump guard. Which is different to previous years of D4. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE

Cheers, LT!
I guessed as much, but you've saved me a grovel on the floor !!
9½ years of off-roading and nary a scratch on the Mantec; I guess I'll risk life without one...
Anyone want to buy a D3 Mantec sump guard?
Or an Uncle Ray D3 spare wheel security disc?

PS - just drove past a pristine 2007 D3 parked up. Somehow it looks more majestic than the D4. Blingosis Discoveriensis?2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods
