D3 headlight bulbs.

My D3 has got a blown bulb. 2006 car. Xenon I believe. They do the up down centre thing when you turn the car on. Curve round bends.
Is there a number one best bulb to Use? If there’s not a head and shoulders best I’m just going to fit a single replacement from Halfrauds. They don’t I presume come in any
Different colour types? Blue tint, yellow tint etc? Thanks, John.

I’m partial to Osram myself, so xenarc night breaker unlimited D2S or xenarc night breaker laser D2S. The most important thing is the type, “D2S” for the D3. If you don’t want Osram, there are plenty of other manufacturers making them as well.

Depending on how old the other working bulb is you might want to change them as a pair.

It is possible to get different hues (color temperatures, take a look at the K value. Usually 4300K is the “default” and corresponds to pretty bright white.

Contact HIDS4U very helpful folk there. A thumbs up for Osram as previously recommended, were about £45 each a few months back but money well spent.

There was a thread on here some time back ref the D2S bulbs and a guy had bought some for under 15 pounds and reckoned they were just fine.

So I bought some and several months later they are still in the car giving out better light than the tired original ones and with the same beam pattern, ps I work odd shifts so they get used pretty much daily.

Thanks for the replies.
Just ordered a pair of bulbs for £15.99 on amazon. Same spec as the factory bulbs. The standard lights are great and work for me so hoping these will work as well as them. Seems very cheap for bulbs but I will wait and see how good they are. My wife’s Volvo headlamp bulbs are eighty quid each which I thought was extortionate. I have bought entire taxed and tested cars for that when I was younger!
