D3 HSE - Does it have bluetooth? |
|
Hello everyone,
Just joined the forum as we have just purchased our own D3 2007 HSE. Very pleased with it, even to the extent as saying it is better than our previous RR's.
We have the Premium audio unit (with the telephone button for a phone in the cradle) and with the steering wheel controls and the SatNav. We also have the 6 CD disk unit. Don't know if we have MOST system.
We would like to use Bluetooth to connect to the D3 but nothing is found when I set my phone to seek. I have the new Microsoft W10 phone.
I suspect our difficulties may be with our phone but ...
We have some questions:
Do all D3's with the cradle for the phone, etc have or come with the Bluetooth feature?
If "Yes", how do I get it to work? (I remember seeing something in the forum about changing the CCF!)
If "No", what do we need to puchase to get bluetooth?
Thanks for any and all your help.
Dave

welcome
try this thread https://www.disco4.com/forum/bluetooth-d3-...=bluetooth When you are dead, you do not know you are dead. All of the pain is felt by others. The same thing happens when you are stupid.

Probably no help at all but my 06 has steering wheel controls, phone cradle and has bluetooth which connected perfectly woth my iphone5 but not so good with iphone 6.
You must know someone with an iphone who could quickly try to see if it connects?

Thank you Luapno and lynalldiscovery for your very helpful replies.
I have (at last) been able to connect to the D3 using my W10 phone. Don't know why the phone couldn't find the car before today.
Now to try and convince HWMBO to get the upgraded D3 or the D4 unit.
Thanks again.
