I also live in the moorlands -closer to cheadle. I would recommend LRX in leekbrook - they are LR specialists and the guy who owns it is very good - even offered to come in on a day off to get my car MOT (bearing in mind he was part way through moving house as well). He also used to do tours off roaring like the alps, so an enthusiast as well.
