The front rubber mats in D3 has hook type fixings. The rears have holes for fixings but I can't see them anywhere. I imagine something must come up through the carpet, but I can't feel anything there. Does anyone know if these fixings are available as spare parts, the mats look untidy just loose laid?? Morning peeps
Similar question here... I have just bought my car and there is only one fixing point visible in the drivers footwell, but it is not central... it looks like there should have been 2 fixings but one is missing....
There are no fixing points in the passenger side or rear.... yet the mats for the model and year seem to have 2 holes for the front mats and a few holes for the second row spread (rubber mats)
Any ideas? Are these items screw ins? Is it likely they have been broken off and the carpet closed up so you cant see them anymore.....
its such a frustrating little problem. I am waiting my mats coming through the post but looks like they will be just laid in place without fixing.
You mentioned the dealer saying they are not available seperately? Does that mean you have to buy a full bag as opposed to an individual fixing point... or that you cant get them at all?? If it a part for the car, surely you must be able to get them somehow....
Suggestions?Many Thanks

Yes these are screw in ones. Standard across the range I think.
They screw in then have a twist half top to secure the rug or mat.
They arent brilliant but they tend to do the job, just!!
If your after some why not try TLO (Nick at Yeovil) to see if he has any?
Hes on holiday this week but back next week I think.

Hi Gav,
The spare parts guy said that they are only available as part of the carpet/rubber mats purchase. However, I don't have a lot of confidence in him and so wouldn't be surprised if he's wrong.
British Parts of Utah in the States shows a picture of part number RR44CLP that looks like the carpet tie down clip you refer to. The cost is $US 3.00 each so that suggests the clips are available individually without buying the mat.
One their website, there is a thumbnail picture of the clip under the LR3 parts section about half way down the page.
