Lightning was rotten when they took it to bits I believe so will be a large "plastic" replica as will F35.

Hopefully F-35 programme will be retained to fruition, not a certainty at the mo. thought of the F-111K/Merlin come to mind.
Now that was such a missed opertunity.

But then we wouldn't have had Tornado....which has the same radar (GMR/TFR) as the F111...one of my recently retired Lockheed Martin colleagues and I were comparing notes and we both started in the aerospace industry in the 1980's and his first job was designing the mechanical fit of weapons onto the F111.

Great seeing that Mossie.
I used to live near Broughton and the landing path for the Mossie went right over my house. I didn't matter how many times I'd seen it before, I always ran out of the house to see it again, not just when I was a small boy, right into my late teens. It was a very rare privilege to see it at 30 - 40 metres up again and again...
What a fantastic noise it made, that brings back some memories It was a terrible shame when it crashed 2011 D4 SDV6 HSE
