Much better that the air suspension, because it is a Koni buffer, so it is much harder and stron that the air suspension. also the wholes that you think that you are gonna break the car, it's nothing for the buffer. the diameter is two times the LR buffer, honestly, it is amazing how it works, I would never thought that it was going to be as good as it is.
the only problen I see here is the light of the suspension fault, so, the DSC is so intrusive, and i cant take it out. I am thinking about bying the Fulmate, but I am no sure if it will work.... I nedd tha te car think that it is a spring suspension and not air suspension....
There is a setting in the CCF for air/coil springs and you can change it with he MSV2. Could be the way forward for you.

I've been speaking to Josean about this for a while.
The idea is for me to disable 4CAS on my D3 and see what happens.
The only thing is that I'm slightly worried about doing it. As far as I know, nobody has done this before, and although I've done lots of CCF edits (and this one should be just as easy), it is just a bit scary in case I can't set it back the way it should be afterwards.
I've also got serious problems at work at the moment so can't find a "free day" where I could try this at 09:00hrs in the morning and then have the rest of the day to sort it out in case it didn't work as planned.
I'll try and get around to doing it within the next week or so, but at the moment it's difficult. 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

You've got to live on the edge every once in a while. It's time to take one for the team!!
Looks like there is only one pipe passing under the rear axle & off to one side, does it give you more clearance??
