Just been reading back over this thread and it’s put me in a bit of a dilemma and didn’t think the day would come.
Yes I’m thinking of selling the D4. Not came to the decision lightly but thinking of replacing the D4 and my works van for something I can use for both.
So in a couple of weeks you may be seeing a for sale post  D4 MY15 SE TECH
D3 gone but never forgotten.

Hi Andy, why can’t you use your beautiful Disco for work? I had pickup trucks ( always worried that things might get nicked) VW vans etc. my Disco worked well for both work and play. I had a trailer as well. Now I’m retired it works as a two seater, no need to downgrade!! Mind you I swapped and changed when I was a youngster. Mantec sump guard.

To be honest I did use my D3 for work and with the amount of gear I carried it didn’t really work for me. The back seats spent all the time flat so when I needed them it was a pain to take everything out and then have to store it somewhere and then put it all back in again.
I’m hoping for a sort of straight swap, sale price of the D4 will be my budget for the Ranger so it’s not costing me anything. Then sell my van and use that to kit it out to my needs.
So all in all if it doesn’t work out at least I’m not out of pocket and can swap back.
That’s the plan anyway. D4 MY15 SE TECH

Well the D4 went to its new owner last night
A sad day but excited to see what ends up replacing it. Unfortunately it won’t be another LR product, for what I’d want/be happy with my budget just wouldn’t allow. I’ll stick around if that’s ok as this place has been a big part of my life for over 10 years now. I’m sure your all eager to know what it’s replacement will be so when it arrives I’ll let you all know.
Thanks to everyone on here, through this forum I’ve met loads of great people many I now class as true friends, so thanks for the memories and I’ll post some photos of the new one when I get one.
