| D4 2010 Voice button silent and inactive |

The book says that a tone sounds when you press and release the voice button on the steering wheel. Mine does not. I have tried adjusting volume etc.
I am trying to set up some names and numbers that I can ask for by voice.
Ideas please.

Similar thread on D3 covering the same. Flack suggested hard reset I think D4 HSE - Aintree Green

2010 XS dosent come with voice as standard
You can get it enabled though  G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thank you very much indeed, Wiggs. I will investigate with local LR specialists (not ripoff dealer).
I saw the D3 posting referred to by Flack but I guess a hard reset would not work if the feature is not enabled.
