noting this is used for multiple car manufacturers as a EGR partial restrictor solution, just stick a hole inthe plate!

Ok all done, you`ll need an 8mm socket with a long bar extension and UJ. First undo the 8mm self taping screws securing both EGR pipes on top of the engine so you can lift them up, Then stuff some cloth down the side of the engine, where the EGR side mount is and don't forget your magnetic bolt holder. Remove the 2 8mm bolts holding each EGR side connection and then insert the restrictor plate with some side angled pliers, align each plate with a long screwdriver as necessary. Superglue the 8mm bolt into the 8mm socket so you dont drop it down the side of the engine and reinstall. On the LHS (from front) I also removed the rubber cover over the fuel injectors.

Hi,

Can't believe no one replied to you at all.

Do you still have them installed and hows the motor running?

Stumbled across this post whilst browsing for solutions to slow pick up.

Cheers.

What’s the gain by using the above on a Discovery 4 apart from blanking them off totally.

Why wait, just go for it and enjoy life.

From memory if they are blank with no hole his triggers the dash fault light.

The Ebay listing does state that they are no good for the Ad Blue D4. Anybody fitted one to Ad Blue D4?
