D4 2015 front bumper wiring loom schematic |
|
Hi all I’ve tried my best at the Italian versions using my phone but I’m struggling to find the 8 pin plug pin out for the front bumper on a Disco facelift 4.5 in which it incorporates the front parking sensors and front fog lamps. Any help would be appreciated.
Thankyou

Fair enough, was a bit of an oversight on my behalf as the discovery 4.5 facelift has a single 8 pin plug whereas the 3 and 4 have 2 plugs (8pin with 6 utilised for the front parking sensors) and a 3 pin for the front fog lamps.
So if you buy a 4.5 front bumper with the loom then you can utilise the existing disco3/4 loom By cutting the plugs and joining the wires up using heat shrink or solder whatever is the preferred method as below
Disco 3/4 3 pin fog lamp - purple/blue to disco 4.5 purple blue
Black ground wires (join the 2 together on the disco3/4 loom and connect to the single black ground of the 4.5 loom
As for the parking sensors the wiring just needs pairing up as per the screenshots below which is straight forward.
You can of course just get hold of a disco 4 loom which is plug and play but as I got the 4.5 bumper with the loom I saved the money and utilised it.
Hope that helps
