D4 Bumper loom plug into D3 car loom??

Hi, can anyone give me the answer as I can't find it!

I am doing a 4.5 conversion on my 3 - I have obtained a complete bumper including wiring loom as I know PDC plugs etc are different , however is the plug the attaches to the car the same or do I need to chop up my disco 3 loom

TIA

Andy

Can you not just use your D3 front bumper loom or are the pdc connectors different?

IIRC Loom didn't change that much apart from moving the fog and pdc connectors into one connector so should be straight forward if you did want to chop some cables up Thumbs Up

Hi - yes the bumper I have bought is D4 complete with loom for PDC and fogs, I'm hoping this will just plug into car loom as I would like to sell my D3 bumper complete with the loom for someone to be able to retrofit onto their D3 if they havent already got front PDC

hope that makes sense?

As mentioned you can do it manually but if you want to buy an adaptor I think this would meet your needs:

https://www.powerfuluk.com/land-rover-disc...-loom.html

So, to clarify, the wiring is different in that you will need to adapt two connector blocks on the D3 engine harness to one on the D4 fog / Pdc loom Thumbs Up

Its this you need to make up:

Hope that helps Thumbs Up

Having never done it I can’t be sure but I think powerful UK had an adapter harness but can’t remember the models. May have been RRS but should be the same.
