I'll have to take a look a what my dealer can do against a broker. The dealers that brokers use in my experience have a large number of cars going out and don't seem be as good in their communication (I like to bother them )
Who is the lease deal for the XS with? Private or bussiness?

I didn't lease mine, i bought it but apparently if you buy on LR Finance then brokers cant match the deals, I paid 1k to the dealer when the broker placed my order, communication with this dealer was absolutely awesome, but i was dealing with the "corporate" dept. The broker uses another company who buy 1000"s of vehicles, who then use a dedicated dealer. I had one contact at the corporate dept, who was the manager, service up to now has been great and its 5days ahead of schedule!! which by going on what others experience seems to be good going!

LR Finance could go no where near matching my broker price.......they were a good £220 higher!
My broker is Xinc vehicle finance - communication is good but I did have a delay on my car and cant figure out whether it was dealer or brokers fault.........nevertheless I got my car in the end! I would also recommend Your Fleet - their price was 545 for an XS but you do have to have squeeky clean credit rating and have quite a bit of £ going through the company to qualify for that rate
Business contract hire.

I also bought mine through Motorlogix and can recommend them. It all went smoothly, and they know about LRs as they sell lots of them and have run them themselves. Also you only pay them their fee - the deposit is paid to the dealer. You can also use the dealer/LR finance deals.
The only hassle is that the dealer is unlikely to be local to you, so it would be harder to sort out any minor niggles etc. So far (touch wood) there haven't been any on mine! I thought the risk was worth it for a £5k ish discount.
Good luck whatever you decide.
