Apart from making me walk around looking like Jack Nicholson playing "The Joker" in Batman, after a couple of days of ownership these are my first impressions..
Love the Smart Key.....but still go to take the (non-existent) ignition key out every time I park......
Didn't think I would get used to the rotary knob as quickly as I have...
As a staunch defender of manual gear-change in a car, this one just seems to suit an auto....
My phone is playing at intermittent hide-and-seek with the car,so further tinkering required I think.
Still too much wind noise from the windscreen area
Seats are maybe not quite as comfortable as my D3 ones (shorter base cushion perhaps)?
That engine is lovely and smooth with the 8-speed box,and certainly feels on par with the opposition now.
NVH is greatly improved (apart from the aforementioned windscreen)
I have a bit of OCD when it comes to steering columns locks, and it still doesn't feel right not checking its on before leaving the car
It was -3c the other morning and it was nice not to have to go out and warm the car, just one blip of the timer remote did the trick.
Think the little side light that comes on in slow corners is a bit gimmicky, but I will get used to it....
overall a massive "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...
