They are the same - it is the way the picture is taken. The DRL are the white strips / rings that go around the headlight... both of them are the same. Do you have a write up on the mod to have the drls turn off when the turn signal indicator is on? I would like to do that mod along with the cornering lamps I believe. Do cornering lamps affect any other functionality? IE vision assist of auto hi beams?

James it looks like my headlights are missing the cornering lamp bulb. Do you know what blub this takes. Am I just missing a bulb or modules as well?

First you will have to see
If you can
Buy them
Separately which I would think not
Then you would have to split the lens from the headlight
On a d3 that’s heat in oven for 8 mins at 89 deg but have heard the glue on d4 is stronger and na on impossibleDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

I found the front / clearing housing for the headlights which makes me think you can open them.
Next I need to figure out the part number for the cornering light to see if I can buy those separate. It’s odd to think they wouldn’t sell seperate in case one were to burn out.

Do you guys have any details on what wiring to add in order to retrofit the AFS function to a non-afs truck?
Mine is a 2012 NA spec 5.0 with factory xenon but not afs.
I swapped out the factory headlights for afs units years ago, and got my hands on an afs control module, but before finding this thread I had never heard mention of anyone getting it to work, so very curious on how you went about it.
I do have the IIDTool to enable the setting in the trucks ccf.
Thanks for any info.

Excellent.
Thank you.
I'm traveling right now, but rest assured I will be pouring over that diagram this evening.
I do have the "untested" menu enabled, so should be good on that end.

Any chance of learning the source of that diagram.
I have tried blowing up the image, but I can't get it large enough read the verbiage.
