Just a heads up for people that today I have finally completed the afs retrofit
I started off with halogens and have now fitted 2015 facelift headlights to my 2010 d4
And all the static bending and self levelling is working perfectly have had to add wiring and a hcm and hours playing with the iid tool on several different settings and working perfect as if it was done at the factory in a HsEDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

Another thing I have noticed is that the
Cornering lights no longer need a indicator and come on when turning a corner regardless if using a indicatorDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

my 2013 didn't have corner lights, but the new 2014 light units (non AFS) do.
I've noticed that they do work, but only when the indicator is also on. What setting did you turn on to get them to light up without them? I assume this is only at low speeds over a certain steering angle?2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320

I have a 2012 lr4 Lux USA spec. Could I get the cornering lights to work on mine? I have done 2014+ headlight upgrade. Headlights have adaptive.

To get the adaptiive lights to work you need to add 14 wires to the car and lights
Then the cornering lights would
Work off the steering angle censor
Other wise you can enable to cornering lights in the ccf with a iid tool and the cornering lights will work off the indicatorDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

Prehaps a silly question James but one worth asking I guess. If the 2016 headlights have been fitted as part of a Discovery 3 front end upgrade would it be possible to get the cornering lights to work also?

Cornering lights yes by enabling in the ccf as long as wiring is there in the headlight wiring plug which should be (see below pin 4)
and will work only when indicator is on and in drive as a d3 hse has cornering lights
afs and levelling would never work as controlled differently between the two vehiclesDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

Hi, just to butt in.
My D3 se is xenon and when 2015 xenon plugged in I got cornering lights activated but if I remember correctly I also got an error up on dash although I could have tried to activate afl also

You'll only have cornering lights on the MY14 units if you have AFS and it will say that on the label. You can see the cornering led lamp on the edge of a PCB board if you look closely Stolen - D4 Loire Blue
