D4 Google maps audio...

Good day all.

A quick question about Google map audio via android. I have a 2015 D4 and have started using Google Maps a bit more (die hard Garmin fan). The audio does not work when the phone is paired with the vehicle (either via the vehicle system or via the phone) Is there any way around this other than disconnecting the Bluetooth hookup?

Thanks in advance.

There is a 'Play voice over Bluetooth?' option buried in Google maps settings. Do you have that checked?

Many thanks. I did see that and thought it was checked. I'll have another look. Appreciate the help.

I use Waze and if I want the audio I have to set the stereo to my Audio and select my phone as the source. I can then use Spotify and Waze.

Thank you. Yes, I can manage all that, it's just Google maps that does not hook up to the audio. So I'm assuming it's a setting on my device in the bowels of gmaps.
