D4 Halogen 2010 to 2015 Bi-Xenon Headlights Not Working
Please can someone advice on how to get the bi-xenon lights working, I have removed the old light and replaced with the new 2015 headlights, the bi-xenon lights came on and then it switched off and now stayed off, if I disconnect the car battery and reconnect the lights come on and switches off again.
Thank you

Have you had them enabled in the CCF?It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Just done mine. Look for the exterior lighting. And set to xenon
You also need diodes and relays to get them working correctly

I have the same problem, though in reverse, had bought 2015 halogen instead of xenon. i am still waiting on my 2015 xenon and hopefully they should be directly compatible to my10 currently on xenon.

Just an update, I found a company in Croydon called iautoUK off Purley Way, they have the Landrover software to enter the CCF menu. Unfortunately my version didn't have the bi-xenon box for then to tick or activate, so they called someone and was told they can download the patch to upgrade the light ECU, but my ECU for some reason rejected the update patch, so still no luck in getting the new headlights to work. I saw online a 2015 light ECU(headlamp control module) if I was to replace my 2010 light ECU. Does anyone know if this will work and if they also know where its located in the disco? Many thanks

I don't think that there is an ECU for headlights in your car, you have been misinformed by the garage. The only ECU for headlights is for cars fitted with adaptive xenon lights - yours cannot have this because it was originally fitted with halogen lights.
The problem is not with your car, it is more likely a problem with the software that the garage was using. I don't think that the LR software can update the CCF to enable xenons.
As said before the easiest way to do this is to get one of the forum sponsors that have an IID tool or Nanocom to do it for you. Forum sponsors do this all day every day. They are far better equipped than most garages to make this change for you because they specialise in the disco.
