D4 HSE is on its way
Having debated what to do with my D3 HSE for some months I decided the simple thing was to give it to SWMBO and get a D4 So deal on a D4 HSE is sorted and the car is being picked up next week
Basically its a black 8 speed HSE lux spec with all of the toys - needs a little TLC as its been used a bit but importantly has had a full service history and had the engine replaced after a broken cam tensioner and whilst body and chassis were apart has had full gearbox refurb, new Turbos, and all bits like brake pipes sorted while it was easy to get to - its never towed and has all of the toys a man could ask for, plus I got a cracking price on it so seems to be good all round (fingers crossed)
As its' mainly been on long motorway trips mileage is a bit high but this has taken a good chunk off the price compared to many for sale of the same year and is ideal for my needs as it looks good, goes well and won't give me too many sleepless nights, once I disable the keyless entry stuff.
Just got to work out how to break the news to SWMBO Must stop buying shiny toys....

You may be right
However she also has a Jeep Wrangler Convertible to run around in in the summer months so my view is it balances out
Not sure she will see it that way - still got to surprise her with the news

Carefully. And with chocies and flowers. Then she’ll forget the D3 as she’ll be convinced she has “competition”.

On the basis that the dog can do no wrong in our house, I’m just going t blame it on the dog needing a lot of space as hes an older chap now , so the D3 is the ideal dog carrier for her to put him in whilst I am out at work in the D4 😂
Think that will swing it Must stop buying shiny toys....

Equally there is as much room in the D4 for the dog...methinks you'll not see too much of the D4 once she's driven it. Good luck. You're gonna need it Tony
