D4 Leather Seats - Worth it?
Just speccing up options for the purchase of a D4 Commercial. Tempted to go for the leather seats (although they'll spend 90% of the time with seat covers on) because the cloth ones on the D3 have been bl**dy uncomfortable.
Are the cloth ones on the D4 better than the D3 or are the leather ones a must have? Only really interested from a comfort point of view as won't be seen (much).
Also, do the manual leather seats come with an armrest?

The D4 seats are a completely different design to the D3......so the cloth ones will be way better. But leather will be good, why not go the whole hog and get electric 8 way option, heated and all?2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

Think it's only the electric pack seats that come with the armrests
Certainly the case with my XS with non electric leather

Hi
I have a D4 commercial delivered 1st Sept but ordered in July.
I went for the leather as easier to wipe clean, can never get on with covers.
I have electric heated seats but when I ordered mine electric moving seats were not an option, not sure why.
They do not come with armrests disapointingly.

One thing I regret is NOT getting the electric seats in our D4 XS. OK the manual leather seats are very comfortable EXCEPT there is no way of adjusting the angle of the cushion (the bit you sit on) and in my opinion the front needs to be higher to give better 'under-thigh' support. I understand this is possible with full electric seats BTW even our manual seats have individual heating for driver and/or passenger.
I have tried to get a little extra front height by putting some washers under the front of the seat runners where the bolts hold the seat on but the adjustment is minimal.
SO if anyone has any ideas on how to get around the problem I would love to hear from youLR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF

According to the 2012 price list I have for the UK market.........
the sum of £815 gets you the "Electric Seat & Arm Rest Pack" (requires the manual leather seat option), on all models including the Commercial, with the full 8-way adjustments etc....2016 Discovery 4 Commercial
