The block is virtually the same, just a few tweaks here and there. 'All New' is a few different bits bolted on. The turbo arrangement was the first on a V engine (apparently), but I don't see why it's special just because they've moved it from an in-line to a V. And it went on the Jag first Disco 5 HSE Lux

Malcolm was the Experience chap that took me around Eastnor about 5 years ago in a D2, so I know these guys are sincere and hugely knowledgeable and the presentation was very good, there is no doubt about that and theeeeennn......???

...and unfortunatley it persuaded me not to buy a new one yet because I still think it's worth waiting a bit to see what's coming up in the next six months....and theeeeennn......???

Going back to the topic for a moment, wasn't the design brief for the D3 that you could park it in 70cm of water overnight and start up and drive off in the morning?
How are the new leccy bits more waterproof than these old ones?
