D4 lights in D3 resistor size. |
|
The video on you tube says I need a 25 w 15 ohm resistor. I have been sent 50 w 6 ohm resistors. The indicators are flashing like mad on the dash. I’m guessing that they sent me the wrong size?
Not a massive problem because one of the used lights I took a chance on has half of the red led pixels missing at least so it’s going to have to wait until I can afford a new passenger side D4 light unit.
I would like to clarify the numbers I need and get the correct resistors ordered upmthough please? Discovery 3 tdv6 HSE 2007

I would suspect the resistor isn't correctly connected if the dash light is still fast.
A higher W value shouldn't matter
A lower R value should still lake the dash light work correctly

They are who supplied the resistors. ok, have to wait for another light before i need to really worry too much. I will investigate further then. i appear to have the right resistors at least. i wired up the D4 light exactly as the you tube video showed. I am going off you tube no end this week.
