My d4 my13 colour

I got my disco in march this year and assume it was Orkney

Never really thought it was that much lighter than our previous Stornaway but never took much notice

Saw one today and it definitely looks a lot lighter than mine

Is there anyway I could have got an old paint job or is it just the light where I live Whistle

Isn't the paint colour under the bonnet? Will have to check when I get back at the weekend
Just wondered if I could have been given an old one D4 HSE - Aintree Green
D4 Orkney my13 - gone
Stornaway D4. Gone, Didn't like it at all
D3 silver manual. Loved my first LR

The grey used on D3/D4 lightened at each change, that is Bonatti -> Stornoway -> Orkney get lighter.

It's now darker again with Corris Grey (somewhere between Bonatti and Stornoway in my opinion) which has been used on some 13MY D4s but not certain it was as far back as March Confused

The slam panel sticker will clear it up though. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

From your gallery photos I'd say yours is Orkney, but could be wrong. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

I think the colour change was May build. When I was ordering the D4 in late March LR had only just released the new colours.

Hi, I've got the my13 Orkney too. I picked it even though there were cheaper black and white hse lux's available but really liked it on the Evoque we had.

To me it is a colour that reacts to the light level. When its clean and its bright outside there is just a hint of purple to the paint and personally it does it for me. However when its dull or unwashed it's more difficult to see and it would be quite easy to think that you've got one of the other LR greys.
