Last week or so I've noticed my brake padel go hard periodically, at the same time I get the distinct feeling that the brakes are binding as the car seems to be struggling to pull when this happens.
I know about the hard brake pedal issues on the D3 servo due to oil in it, but has anyone had this or similar on a D4?LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
I've had the same issue with my D4, break pedal switch fault the ecu thinks you are feathering the break pedal and puts a bit of pressure through the servo
Thanks, will get it rechecked, but its been replced before and was checked for calibration only 6 weeks ago. LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Mine failed to start earlier in the year as although I was pressing the brake pedal it didn't recognise this, so wouldn't start, but equally wasn't telling me to press the pedal to start the car.
The dealer did something, I think there was a service bulletin regarding the servo and that really improved brake pedal and brake feel. However, in the last few weeks the pedal feel has really changed again.Andy
