Well so far they still havent found anything.

Fuel is getting to the injectors and they managed to get it running on 'eezzee start' whatever that is.

Still not sorted and now snows coming.

Hes thinking matches and some petrol now.

I had the same issue in a car.. It turned out that the immobilizer chip in the key had fallen out!
it started with the spare key.. Might be worth a try?

Crank sensor and trigger ring. I believe there was a problem with certain VIN numbers.
Similar symptoms.

Failing that , should be checking live fuel pressure for low fuel pressure pump (in tank) and then high fuel pressure (Engine mounted)at cranking speed.

Just to tidy this one up.

After all the sensors were changed, alot of other work and the hpfp and lpfp both out and tested it was....

A frayed solitary wire in the front offside near the wheel well.

Just a cool £1000 then.

Ooopps.
