just got update from dealer, they must be churning them out
"The estimated build date for your new D4 is showing as 14th October and then
to SVO for conversion, however we are seeing build dates moving forward
quite a lot so I would expect to see the car around mid October."
Not as long off as I feared

Does this mean they make them as standard and then remove everything!!??
Or do they just leave out the seats and then add the load bay protection etc? D4 XS MY12 Galway

Just been told it will be ready for collection in 2 weeks!! However my NFU voucher doesn't kick in until 2nd week of October. Do I wait and collect in October or collect this month and lose a further 3% discount ?

That depends on whether you want to waste 3% of whatever you paid for the sake if 2-3 weeks. I'd wait or see if you can negotiate.... That 3% can go on fuel, mods, and/or a treat(s) for the SWMBO....

Starts as a standard vehicle and then gets adapted to a commercial "you cannot teach stupid people to do clever things"

Hi Joe
How are you enjoing you new commercial 8) .
I intent to get a similar spec to yours early next year. Moving on from an 06 D3 HSE.
Do you intend fitting a bench seat & possibly taking out the rear window covers to help visibilty when pulling out of junctions etc.
Your thoughts & experiences would be most useful.

sorry pal just seen your post. Yes delighted with vehicle, a little disappointed at first with gear change etc but once i had covered 500 miles it settled down well. I am thinking about putting extra seats in and removing plastic covers from windows, its a pain on junctions. Just clocked 5000 miles and running sweet
