I managed to get an allocation slot that the dealer had for January orders giving a 4 week build time. If I had waited and someone else got the slot then it would have been 6-8weeks depending on spec. It may vary with spec though

To be honest I've only had a little play with the paddles....enjoying waft mode too much!
I've used them to knock it up into 8th as it can hang on to 7th slightly longer than the other gears, although this may just be the system "learning" as its only done 200miles.
I have knocked them occasionaly by accident (big hands ) but it reverts back to full auto in a few seconds. Going from manual D2s to manual D3 then auto D4, I must admit I was an "auto sceptic" but it is a joy to use.

If you are planning to go to the dealer in Hanley, I went in at the end of January... my D4 arrives early March (was able to amend a car in the build queue). For a fresh order, I suspect it could have been late March, maybe April.
