have been browsing at d4s on auto trader, and they all seem to have a sort of plastic chin spoiler, with a small flap down in front of each front wheel, is this a plastic trim you remove for off roading? i looked at MrH's very smart d4 picture and his didn't seem to have it.
enlightenment would be much appreciated.

Yes, the D4 has a different plastic trim over the front tow hitch. It's only abou 8"to9" deep plus there are those hangy down bits in front of each wheel.
All have to come off to fit a proper ally sump guard. Not really an issue though only takes a few mins
