| D4 Rear seat audio controls |
|
Have seen two D4 HSEs today (one 4-months old, the other brand, brand new) and neither had the rear seats (rows 2 or 3) audio controls. Kids live by pluggind head phones into the D3 door and listening to CDs whilst I am happy with the radio. Is this another feature which has dissapeared or become an extra? seen some posts about problems with the controls, so assume is something new missing? 11 HSE Santorini Black

Early D4's had them but the later ones have been deleated from the D4's. Not sure if they could be retro fitted. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

You get them with RSE only now. 2011 D4 Landmark, Mini Cooper SD Clubman, Range Rover Vogue SE

Yep. Deleted on D4 HSE after September 2009.
As mwestcrew says, only available with RSE option.
Aparrently can't be (easily) retrofitted as loom is different.

Oh well, going to have to just suffer kids complaints. One thing though, the panel where they should be doesn't half look ugly with the snap out.
off topic, but same goes for the holes where the rear air con controls went before. Would have been far nicer for LR to put a single panel in if retrofit not possible
and finally, no passenger cup holder / coin holder slot.
Yes, the car is a really nice one, but not having all these little extras may well just take the edge off perfection? 11 HSE Santorini Black

If you want perfection then LR want you to pay for it
