D4 SatNav: Arrival time feature not available ?

Is it just me......

Can't find a way of displaying the ETA on the SatNav screen. Looked in the book, on the menu but can't find it.

Used to be on the D3 SatNav and is on almost every system that I've used.

It saves having to calculate forwards from the current time to the ETA by adding everything up....

IIRC, Its a setting somewhere - to display time to destination or ETA.

Someone will be along in a few with a step by step routine..... Wink

On mine it shows both distance and time to arrival .

It only shows these once a route it set and you have actually drove a small distance so it reconises your on route ( ie set a route while on my drive ... Set off ... A few hundred yards down the road ... It will display eta)

For me I only get the distance and time yet to be travelled with no ETA shown.....

It must be a setting some where, anyone have an idea ?

it's pretty naff at timing though. Unlike some which take the maximum speed of the road or alternative, the timer on the D4 appears to take your current speed and apply that to the whole journey.

I have found the arrival time to be quite accurate even on the longer journey.

Last Sunday we left Cornwall at 5.45pm and the 310 mile journey was showing a 10.00 pm arrival time. It came down to 9.45pm after around an hour, but having then making 2 stops at the services, the new arrival time of 10.30 pm was spot on.
