I'm just about to change my D3 for a D4.
Can someone confirm whether the service interval is mileage based or not, ie does the car still require an annual service even if I do not cover 15K miles in that time?
Thanks in advance.

Me too, but (surprise, surprise), the salesman at the dealer is telling me that it doesn't.
I just need confirmation either way.

12 months or 16,000 miles. Whichever comes first.
Had my 1st service last week £380 all in, not bad for this part of the world

My dealership also said that my D4 didn't really need a service last year. It had only done 6k miles. But I got an oil and filter change done anyway, and the mechanic assured me that he would only change or see to things that actually needed doing, so he didn't bother changing the pollen filter for example. However he then discovered that it needed the software update, which took quite some time to do! 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial
