No, they're all French.

Mostly can be done with only know that droit is Right and gauche is Left.

As you'll get them before you go, you can always use the translate app to check on any bits where it says 4x4 only. But the tulip diagrams work really well.

Books are in French, but the diagrams are clear and self explanatory. And if you email them, they will send you an English translation of the Kai. Text , which is the history, some hotel info etc. they're very helpful. They'll aslo email you a GPX file of the route too.

When i read the title i became interested - i had visions of deepest Africa, Iran, South Asia, Nepal, Mongolia etc.
But for anywhere in the western world - basic spares, AA/RAC cover, mobile phone (Loaded with some form of language translation software) with European Sim and wallet.
Have done some of Europe with basic toolkit and little spares but that was in Mitsu Shogun which i trusted 100%.
I have however, been contemplating a overland world trip for a while - a long long long while - but events in life mean that family have to be looked after or another major financial event rears its ugly head.
i therefore take a great interests in such posts as my vision for my journey now features more regularly in my thoughts than before Smile Smile Smile

I have very limited mechanical experience,so in my view simple is best, if you worry too much about what could go woong you could take enough spares to build a new car, here is what SWIMBO and I took/prepared for our trip to Ulaanbaatar some years ago:

3 x Air filters
2 x Oil Filter
1 x Fuel Filter
2 x 5 litres of engine oil
2 spare wheels
Emergency Puncture kits
Two large fuel cans
Duck tape
Cable ties
Spare bulb kit
Couple of socket sets including star drives etc figuring out garages may not have the funny shaped sockets.

A month before we left had all fluids (including brake oil and steering oil) changed, new alternator, battery, belts and brakes.

We relied on good old USD $, a Sat phone & insurance arranged through my company that will air lift you out of any place should something terrible happen to get us out of anything. We were also prepared to just abandon the car if catastrophic failure occurred (e.g. gear box, engine failure).

Nothing much happened car wise (although plenty of other adventures) other than lots of paperwork, boarder queues and about 15 punctures…….

Oh one more thing we used a Suzuki Laughing Laughing Laughing although would be up for doing it again in the D3 if I can find someone up for it and wouldn’t kill each other after spending so much time in a car!
