D4 Stuck in neutral

So yesterday my D4 decided to have a little wobble and refused to come out of neutral. I was sat at lights on a busy dual carriageway. Luckily I had my GAP tool and did a quick fault check and clear. All good now. Any ideas what may of caused it, I didn't have time to start reading any fault, just wanted to get moving again. It has done it again this morning taking my wife to work. I had to pull red gearbox release and handbrake release as I didn't have my phone to connect to GAP tool.
Some mistakes are to good to only make once.

If you cleared all faults you need to list the new faults here, it could be the brake light switch, simple and cheap to replace for starters Thumbs Up
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I have just connected my GAP tool and driven round for 30 mins trying to replicate the fault without success. I did however notice that if I press the brake and release it I can now here an audible click coming from the selector module. Every press creates a click. Sound like a solenoid inside. Other than that I will just keep driving till the fault appears again.
