D4 Towing Module selection |
|
Hi,
Just added a 14 plate D4 to the fleet. it came with twin 7 pin towing electrics but none of the towing features had been enabled in the CCF. I have done this with the IID tool but I wasn't sure which towing module to select. I have searched for an answer without success. The only suggestion I have seen was to select the 13 pin option as this has all the same signals as the twin 7 pin. Anybody know for sure?

Well, nobody came back on this, so I set it for 13 pin and everything seems to work OK.
I also enabled the hitch assist and that is well worth doing, as it allows single handed hitching without keep gettting out to look.

That’s something I need to do on my d4, have an IID but it’s not been out of the box yet, is it a relatively easy thing to find and switch on?, mines got the 13 pin connection
