D4 WARNING LIGHT THEN CUT OUT! "HELPE NEEDED STRANDED"

Guys car has been running fine and then about 10 mins ago driving along the road and warning light came on so I pulled over in to a garage. Tried starting again and it isn't playing.

Anyone any idea what issue is? Battery or starter motor?

Many thanks

Kenny

Looks like your alternator has been failing. Have you a voltmeter with you?

RAC guy here but seems to think it's a fuel pump issue

Guys I would like to thank you for your help with this matter and kind offer of a lift/rescue Thumbs Up it shows what help you can get when needed and I am humble for it Very Happy

Turns out to be fuel after all, well lack of fuel Embarassed even thought the tank showed just under a quarter full Big Cry

It was the last thing the RAC guy checked and I was so embarrassed but glad lol

Many thanks

Weird things the Landrover miles to 0 , I put 20 in a DS and the range never moved the other month , the dealer said yeah they all do it Shocked
Last week shoved a tenner in the D4 (lol I needed the 20 for some plants ) and that still had same range even after engine off on , weird I tells ya .
