D4 Winch kit - front parking sensors...question in fitting!
All, I had the winch kit fitted yesterday (here in Australia); looks great; the fitter put the centre two front parking sensors (outer two dont get affected) back in the bumper but relocated from original position obviously. Now they ofcourse are picking up the winch (too close) so stay on (until you use dash switch to turn off).
Can someone tell me whether LR recommend NOT replacing the two moved sensors? Will system work without these two centre sensors?

Interesting - I wonder if removing two - the system will still work? At the back it does....when you remove one to fit a wheel carrier; Also when you rotate the rear inboard two through 45degrees it doesnt pick up the Mitchell Brothers 4x4 Tow Hitch...I might try that too.MY2010 D4 HSE 3.0, e-diff, 19inch MTR's; LLAMS Height adjustor, LR f & r light guards, LR side steps, LR bright finish side door mouldings; LR/Mantec G4 front bash plate, LR G4 Winch kit, Warn 9500lb Winch; GOE compressor guard, Uniden UHF, LR bright finish roof rails, LR G4 driving light kit, LR G4 ladder, 4 x extra rear compartment 12V sockets, Traxide dual battery system and Optima Yellowtop battery, ORS drawer system / fridge slide, LED rear compartment lighting.

what MrWiggs said.
the front parking sensors were disable on both my D3 and D4 when LR fitted the winch.
Having said that ive never needed the parking sensors with the winch Duncan
