the arm maybe next if this doesn't work
Although a new blade may stop the knock when first fitted, it will probably return after use as the worn arm will eventually put your new blade out of shape.
I found a LR dealer on Ebay selling the offside arm for about £20 including delivery (nearside was much more) Although that was some weeks ago. Once the arm is removed you can clearly see the corrosion to the spring and pivots.

I've just found the arm for £9.99 from an Exeter dealer, at that price it would be stupid not to get it!
Thanks BBDisco3 Nick

New arm arrived today, as previously mentioned it was £9.99 inc p/p
It arrived today, 'signed for' service at a cost of £5.50 ..... surely the dealer has lost big time
I can only imagine they have 1000's of the things in a box out back and are just trying to clear them out?
..... anyhow with the new wipers & an arm if the noise isn't gone then I think I'll lose the plot, watch this space. Nick

I bought a set from Halfords for the FL2 I had, only wipers I've ever bought that juddered in the rain, on a dry screen they didn't judder, binned after one week.

Bosch aerotwin blades for me everytime LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Will be really interesting to see if replacing the driver's side arm cures the thunk at the end of the sweep. I've tried about 6 different types of blades in 2 years including the Bosch aerotwin and most of the others recommended and none cured the thunk.
