Bit of help needed plse - Tempted by spending only £9.99 to improve the noise, but also the wipability (thats really not a word is it?) of the blade, I have purchased said arm, also investing in the tool to easily remove it (or so I thought), I set to work this afternoon.
First issue - the tool I bought is for a smaller diameter and it doesn't quite reach the top of the bolt - but with some workaround, I think I was getting a pretty good pressure on the wiper arm to try and 'pull it' off the to bolt, but it aint budging.
All I have done is remove the nut on the top of the bolt - before I go and spend more money on a bigger puller tool, there isn't anything else I need to be doing before I try and pull the arm off is there?MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff

They can seize on, I used a small 2 legged puller and it took some force but it eventually give and popped off. Other than the nut there's nothing else holding the wiper arm on.

Can you soak the spiggot in penetrating fluid as an alternative to the tool? Making sure it doesn't go all over the windscreen obviously...

I was in Costco last weekend they had them on offer, 6.99 each plus the vat, Goodyear blades and so far, they clear the screen a lot better than the previous ones, no noise, worth a go You only get one lap, make it count !!

D4 Wiper Arms
I've just replaced my blades to try and stop the thunk and it partially went away. Found quite a significant twist in the arm. Unfortunately none of the £9.99 Arm deals left on ebay, cheapest is around £23.00 inc delivery so I've taken the plunge and ordered the box of 50
Martin's confirmed he's OK for me to advertise them on here and to sell them to Forum members at cost (£1) plus forum contribution (£1) and delivery at cost. Delivered cost is expected to be £7 - £9, collected £2
They're on their way and I'll put an ad up on Parts for sale section as soon as they arrive Mark
