Don’t go cutting his bloody head off, it’s extra leg length I need not another sodding head, I’m not from the Forest of Dean.

You okay DG? Seem a bit paranoid.
I’ve met RM when we swapped some D4 parts over last year. He knows that I’ve not written off the idea of buying a D5 in the future, but that I first need one for a few days to see how I get on with it on long journeys. I told him that.

So Mine is an HSE, SD6. Must say I’m completely in love with it. 39mpg averaged over 600 miles. Such a nice place to be over a D3/4

You can’t come out with things like that on here, you’ll get lynched Laughing

Seriously though, behind the wheel of the D5 is a nice place to be.

I’ve got a D5 2.0d HSE for the weekend. Have to say I’m really impressed with it so far, it’s very comfortable, smooth and I find it pretty responsive.

Good job really as I’ve just ordered one, I’ll get my coat Whistle

For gooey D5 love ins 💖 , there’s always the tranquility and privacy of Disco5.co.uk. Still, it’s all good news for the new Slovakia plant Thumbs Up

I hope that LT’s not been too put off taking the time to bring us a balanced report, after having had his write up slightly pre-judged Rolling Eyes

I can’t show my face on Disco5, I was told to “stick my opinions where the sun don’t shine” because I’m not a fan of aftermarket tints Laughing

Would this be from the people that insist there’s absolutely no difference? Rolling Eyes

Okay, the “gooseberry” comment is funny! Laughing

Is any criticism valid, or does it all fit in the “slagging off” category?

I could acknowledge and even list criticisms of the Full Fat, or even the old D4. For example, there are no storage boxes in the boot, the bonnet release is on the wrong side and the rear seat won’t fold anywhere near flat, but I still like it Very Happy And, to show some balance, the ‘5 has more space in the boot than the FF and... okay, I’m struggling now Rolling Eyes

Could you bring yourself to do the same for the ‘5, or is it the first car ever built without blemish? Wink

Here’s a challenge for you; If you can list shall list 5 things that you don’t like about the design of the ‘5, I’ll do the same for either the ‘4 or the FF - you get to choose. Can you bring yourself to do it?
