It's been 15 days now and around 1,600 miles so far in “my" D5. So, how long does this process take before I start to notice the effect? Rolling Eyes

I have started to notice that every D1, D2, D3, D4, Classic, P38a, L322 and L405 that I pass on the road is getting better and better looking every day though; is this how it's supposed to work? Wink

I test drove a new Cayenne S yesterday, it took about 5 seconds to think it was a fabulous place to be. It felt as roomy as my D4 (obviously not the boot) a sublime engine and then you pressed the loud pedal Shocked OMFG. Huge amount of room in the back row with seats that aren’t low down and a good thick steering wheel only downside is they aren’t making them at the moment and you can’t order a tow bar at the moment.

That’s going to be a bit cozy in a D5! Shocked Still better on the inside looking out than the outside looking at it. Whistle

@Pelyma:

Bet they’ll only let you tow a speed boat, a jet ski, £4 million pounds worth of race horse or one of those flash teardrop caravans, or they won’t let you keep it Wink

I often think, when driving a V6, or V8, that what this car needs for a bit of class is a 4 pot diesel Wink Laughing Thumbs Up

I don't think I've ever seen a Cayenne towing a horse trailer. It's cheaper VW cousin, yes, a friend tows with one and likes it, but she doesn't know any better.

I'd have thought that the mega wide low profile tyres on a Cayenne would make towing a trailer off road a little tricky Smile

What with 19” wheels? I see plenty here towing, the old V8 diesel must have been awesome.

I’ll probably wait until looonnng after the 3 pot comes out Wink Thumbs Up

The major attraction of handing back a company car was being freed up from the Asthmic Engine Syndrome for just a little longer... I’m not sure if LR even make a girly Land Rover that will fit in the 110g top end limit for company car viability anymore Sad

I’m going to have a final fling with a silly engine while I still can Very Happy That’s if they can get it to work again, that is 😆

RRS and FFRR P400e emissions are 64 g CO2/km. The three door Evoque was barely under 110 and a regular one is 113 g.

I’d probably accept a girly FFRR if I really had to Whistle Mr. Green

I hadn’t thought about the hybrid RR’s, good point Thumbs Up

But, unlike when a Freelander could be run as a decent company car (as opposed to the discontinued Evoque 2wd 3dr Barbie car) these will only be an option for a very, very small number of company car drivers Sad
